A few words to get you in the mood
Just in case the pictures above are not enough, here's a written appetizer: Our hotel rooms have that charming Alpine look and feel – tastefully appointed with an eye for detail (the beds and other furniture are in fact made from domestic spruce, supplied by the Trübsee alp cooperative, and built by the skilled joiners of Schreinerei Würsch in Buochs, right on the shore of Lake Lucerne) – and offer a spectacular view of the Alpine lodge's primal surroundings. And there are more places to relax, for instance the lounge or the sauna, including a panoramic terrace. Great reasons for spending your next vacation at Jochpass! In the Säumerstube (mule drivers' room) with its panoramic windows and fireplace, or in the Alpgenossenstube (alp cooperative members' room), you can perfectly satisfy your appetite and enjoy choice wines from our cellar, whether on your own or in the company of many. In the cozy Stübli (parlor) at one of the large tables seating ten, or in one of our three cozy nooks, we will gladly serve you delicacies from our menu. Our large deck now extends all the way around the Stübli, offering great views in every direction. Our food is delicious, prepared with many ingredients from our region, and our staff is always friendly and accommodating – we keep cheerful and passionate about our role as hosts even when the things around us get a little stressful, always ensuring an unforgettabel atmosphere. Because this is what it takes to make your time up here at Jochpass truly fabulous!

Covid 2G checkpoint at the valley station
December 17, 2021, the Federal Council decided that the interior of restaurants may only be entered with a 2G Covid certificate. So that guests on the mountain do not have to show the certificate in every restaurant, we will be checking this at the valley station from today. The guests will then receive a control band, which must be worn around the wrist and will be checked in the mountain restaurants. Also at Bärghuis Jochpass, you will receive the control band after showing the certificate and the ID with name, date of birth and picture.
Also at the valley station is an external Covid test center, which is open daily from 8.00 - 13.00 for antigen quick test.
