Bärghuis Jochpass is located at 2222 meters above sea level beneath the peak of Titlis in the primal surroundings of one of Central Switzerland's most beautiful regions. Our Alpine lodge is the point of departure for countless adventures into this fabulous Alpine world. Whether you are a winter sports aficionado, hiking enthusiast, alpine flora botanist, seasoned summiteer, or just someonewho knows how to enjoy life: right outside our front door, untamed nature is waiting to be discovered and experienced in all its splendor.

Wintertime means great fun on the slopes

It's the early bird that catches the worm – or rather, it's the early bird that lands on the snow first! Because during the winter season, our Alpine lodge offers direct access to the ski slopes, and incidentally, to the ski school, too. Whether you are a dyed-in-the-wool freestyler, hardcore freerider, elegant telemark enthusiast, daredevil toboggan rider, relaxed backcountry skier, stomping snowshoe hiker, ambitious cross-country skier or idling sun worshipper: the Engelberg-Titlis skiing area gives you the opportunity to do what you love the most in winter, and to try out new things too. In the evening, you can round off the day in our sauna, with a nice dinner, and finally in one of our rustic and cozy rooms. The next morning, at breakfast, you kick off a fabulous new day – and then another one, time and again.

Summertime means discoveries and excitement

During the snow-free months, you can discover and experience the Alpine world on an extensive network of hiking trails, for example on the gorgeous Alpine flower trail, the fantastic four-lakes hike, directly on the mountainside, climbing one of the six breathtaking via ferratas, or on the shores of the idyllic Alpine lakes. And if you need a little more action, you will find many varied bike trails, thrilling downhill routes and a fun Devil Bike run. And after all the excitement, you can enjoy the sunset having a nice drink on our deck!
